POEMS & POETRY ARE A POWERFUL WAY TO INCLUDE AUTHENTIC LANGUAGE and activities in the world language classroom; I have long used them in my elementary Spanish classes as both a way to include culture and provide authentic opportunities for kids to create with Spanish.
